Turn a compatible smart TV into a managed screen.
Hardware-free digital signage means running the signage app on the TV without adding an external media player. You still need a compatible TV, power, a supported installation method and a network for setup and cloud updates.
1. Check the exact model
CasTV.ai targets Samsung Tizen OS 7+, LG webOS, Android TV and Fire TV built-in TVs. Check model year, firmware, storage and permissions. Consumer Samsung deployment can require developer mode; do not assume public app-store availability or automatic boot launch on every model.
2. Install and pair
Follow the supported platform installation guide, open the TV app and pair it to your workspace with its claim code. Treat the code as a credential: do not put it in analytics, public templates or support screenshots.
3. Publish and verify
Start with a simple reviewed menu or image. A cloud publish result proves dispatch; a fresh playback signal and capture where supported provide more evidence. Look at each physical screen before accepting an installation.
4. Test loss of connectivity
Wait until assets are verified and cached and the schedule is persisted. Disconnect the test TV from the network and observe playback. Reconnect and verify recovery. Live feeds and new cloud content cannot be assumed to work offline.
5. Qualify advanced layouts
Map the panels' actual resolution, bezels and orientation. Test asymmetric canvas geometry and the required viewing distance. Measure wall drift over time under normal and degraded conditions. Coordinated playback does not establish continuous frame lock.
Common questions
Which smart TVs can CasTV.ai target?
Samsung Tizen OS 7+, LG webOS, Android TV and Fire TV built-in TVs are the native targeting families. Compatibility and installation must be checked for the individual TV and firmware.
Can AI verify a physical screen?
AI can analyze an available screen capture and telemetry, subject to permissions and capture limits. That analysis is not a substitute for fresh per-screen evidence and physical observation when accepting an installation.
Is setup guaranteed in 60 seconds?
No. Installation, pairing and first playback depend on the platform, firmware and network. A 60-second setup claim has not been measured or qualified.
